Terms of sale

Booking must be done through:

1) booking platform of our website
www.ossolaoutdoorschool.com

2) by e-mail writing to info@ossolaoutdoorschool.com stating:

– Full name(s) of participant(s);
– phone number

– complete address

– fiscal code
– technical level;
– date and selected program;
– possible authorization for minor(s)

After agreement with the secretaryship (by phone or email)  (by bank wire) a deposit must be paid as follows:
 100% of the amount for programs up to 399€;
– 50% of the amount for programs above 400€;

The balance of the amount must be done by bank wire 14 days before the start of the chosen program.

Bookings made during the 14 days period preceding the program’ start, require full payment, regardless the amount,  with no deposit or delay.

Official registrations are accepted only once the payment’ slip is sent to and received at the following email addresses:
info@ossolaoutdoorschool.com e marta.poretti@ossolaoutdoor.com.

Bank wire must be done specifying in the reason field the following:

– Full name

– name and starting date of the booked program, as, for example:

JOHN SMITH – FREE CLIMBING COURSE 15-09-22

Bank charges due for foreign payments (and currency exchange) are due by the SENDER. In case of failed payment, bank charges must be reimbursed to the secretaryship before the program’ start.

NOTE: please, carefully check for every program in the “Included” and “Not included” sections, what is included and what is not, to be fully aware of what you’ve paid for.

Withdrawal and cancellation by the participant

In case of withdrawal from a paid (both as account or full payment) program’s booking, cancellation penalties are as follows:

A participant that, due to personal reasons, shouldn’t be able to take part in one or more days of a multi-days program, will loose the day(s). He/she can, however, discuss with the secretaryship his/her possible participation in future courses/activities, but with no guarantee commitment by OSSOLA OUTDOOR SCHOOL.

Withdrawal or changes made by the organizer

In case meteorological or environmental reasons shouldn’t allow to organize the activities with the due safety, OSSOLA OUTDOOR SCHOOL will offer, within 4 days from the program’ start, a similar program or possible different dates. Participants will be immediately informed of possible price changes. If any agreement upon a different activity should be possible, OSSOLA OUTDOOR SCHOOL will guarantee a credit for the same paid amount, to be used within one year.

OSSOLA OUTDOOR SCHOOL hold the right to cancel the program until  4  days prior the start, in case the minimum required number shouldn’t be reached. In this case a full refund will be made; no other request will be accepted. For the withdrawal realized by the organizer and for any further, not specified situation, provisions of “D.Lgs. 17 marzo 1995, n. 111” shall be applicable. in case of group bookings that shouldn’t reach the participants’ minimum number, OSSOLA OUTDOOR SCHOOL will offer the following possible solutions:
– payment of an extra fee per participant to perform the program/activity even without the minimum number;
– change of the group’s booked activity
– change of date for the booked activity

The Guide responsible for the program will have the right, for different reasons (meteo conditions, mountains conditions, members’ training/physical conditions, timing, participants’ behaviour and any other unexpected event), to modify the program, in order to guarantee the correct balance between clients’ expectations and the due safety conditions. Evaluations will be made by the Guide together with the whole group, but the final decision will be under the exclusive responsibility of the Guide and it will be unquestionable.

The Guide, if necessary, will inform the participants about possible problems affecting the success of the program and they will hold the right to decide if to accept the risk or modify destination, dates or program. In case the participant should accept the communicated risk, the Guide will hold the unquestionable right to cancel the program during its course, at any moment, in case the due safety conditions should fail. In this case no reimbursement request will be accepted.

REIMBURSEMENT CHARGES BY BANK WIRE ARE DUE BY THE CLIENT

Booking transfer to a third person

In case a participant shouldn’t be able to take part in a booked program, OSSOLA OUTDOOR SCHOOL allows to transfer the booking to another person, given the proper information to the secretaryship at least 4 days before the start of the program.

Insurance

All OSSOLA OUTDOOR SCHOOL activities include Civil Responsability insurance, both for the programs performed in Italy and those abroad. The insurance will be automatically activated by the secretaryship for all the registered participants in any of the programs.

Responsibility and damage compensation

For the participation to any of our programs, is necessary to be aware of the risks involved in outdoor activities, performed in a wild environment not 100% under our control. OSSOLA OUTDOOR SCHOOL informs, through its Guides, the informative material and personal talks before and during the activities, about the involved dangers and risks exposure. The participant commit to carefully read the information forms regarding the activities, to listen to the Guide’s indications and to carefully read the responsibility waiver form where general risks and the due obligations for participation are specified. Even when guided by a certified and qualified Guide offering the utmost guarantee in terms of safety and risk reduction, in the mountains objective, unavoidable dangers exist, separate from human behaviour. With the registration to our programs, everyone acknowledge these dangers and renounce to any damage compensation request and to charge with any responsibility  the Guide or OSSOLA OUTDOOR SCHOOL.

OSSOLA OUTDOOR SCHOOL cannot be held responsible for any possible theft or loss suffered during the course of the activities.

Individual and group equipment on loan or rent

During the activities’ course, some group or individual equipment can be made available (ropes, harnesses, helmets, clmbing and mountain shoes, backpacks, garments, technical stuff, first aid kits, emergency cal devices, etc…) and delivered to the participants by the Guide. This material, depending on the conditions signed upon for every activity, can be included in the participation price or rented for a fee. COMPLETE OR PARTIAL DAMAGE/BREAK  or LOSS OF THE MATERIAL BY THE CLIENT, INVOLVES ITS COMPLETE REIMBURSEMENT.

Image rights

OSSOLA OUTDOOR SCHOOL is allowed to use, for promotional reasons, pictures or videos shot during the activities. In case participants wouldn’t appear on photo/video, must inform the secretaryship or the Guide prior the start of the program.
